It felt as if she had already slept a long time. It made her wonder what that had been like for him, to be tucked away for such a long time and to sleep for so long... probably without anything but bad dreams if he had any at all. She knows now the things he had kept buried in his heart and wants so badly to just take whatever pain still lingered and wash it away with her own hands. If she could do that, then maybe he might allow himself to be happy.

"But then I wouldn't be able to hear your voice." She wanted to memorize it when she could like this, awake and curled up with him. Moving to sit up only slightly, she leans over him and runs her fingers through his hair, to trace the shape of his face so that she could memorize that too. Some how it was alright to be like this, casting modesty aside despite the fresh color that seeped into her cheeks only slightly.

"I'm not tired." Though that might be more convincing if she didn't immediately try to stifle a yawn. How long had they slept? Clearly she was going to have to be stubborn about this! "Ah- that-that was... I'm definitely not tired." Though she was now incredibly flustered. There was no way she'd be able to convince him at this rate.
