voicetest | BASIC RULES & GUIDELINES.

GENERAL PREMISE

The idea of voicetest is to provide all roleplayers a space to voicetest their muses in a similar style as to that of games, i.e. without breaking the fourth wall. Think dear_mun and dear_player only the character is not addressing you, but rather other characters.

To this end, you can write up VOICE, VIDEO, TEXT or ACTION posts. While you do not need to, you're welcome to consider one of a variety of settings that your character finds himself in.

To give you an example, whereas your muse might address you, the player, on dear_mun / dear_player saying that they don't want you to put them in a space game because they're afraid of flying, here, they might make a network post complaining about how much they really hate space. Other characters can then react as though they, too, were in space. Everyone profits.

RULES

1 — Understand, accept, and uphold that IC ≠ OOC. Characters are not their players.

2 — Don't harass a player, for any reason. You'll just get banned if you do. If a player is harassing you, report them to the mods on this post.

3 — Use the tags. They exist to make things easy for everyone involved, so please use them. If you want to request a new tag, please do so here.

4 — Warn for triggering/nsfw material in your post's subject line. Warning for spoilers is optional.

5 — Keep the general purpose of this comm (voicetesting!) in mind. Please do not treat this as a PSL, or make posts closed to only a few characters. All posts should be open and everyone should be free to tag into them.

POSTING FORMAT

1 — Indicate your entry's rating in the subject line, if applicable.
2 — Warn for triggering/nsfw material in the subject line. This is also a rule; we'll delete your post if you don't warn for content.
3 — Use at least two (2) tags. One of them must be your canon's tag. Request for one if you can't find a tag that applies.
3 — Indicate your preferred setting in the Location: meta of your post. This is optional if you're not using one of the preset ones.
