[Action]
(This post will contain (and be set in) spoilers for Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. Due to said spoilers, I'm putting the post content behind a cut. Some potential for blood and violence and creeping will occur here, as a forewarning.)
[ACTION A - Hydrangea Isle]
[ A beautiful, rainy, flower-filled island, in the middle of the sea is where you'll find yourself. She doesn't go to the surface much nowadays, but today she has, and so, she settles to picking flowers, humming to herself. She's only picking up red ones, though.
A girl in a disturbing red outfit. She reads as a witch of monstrous power, both to those who can feel it, and even to the naked eye. ]
Hmmm-mmm, hmm-hmmm... ah, I haven't gotten to be on land in so long, so I may as well make the most of this! Perhaps I'll grow some red roses... hmmm... oh? I see I'm not alone. Hello!
[ACTION B - The Red Sea, Underwater]
[ Her home is underwater, of course. As a sea witch, it's just natural. But this sea is polluted with blood, corrupt. Filled with horrible eyes and cast over by an eternal bloody moon, the waves seem to moan with the deceased, and the decaying... after all, their ruler IS the Dead Princess, Mikotsu. And unsurprisingly, a new person has arrived. Uncorrupted. Well, she'll see about that! They all learn eventually. Those who are not dead come over to their logic in the end, just as she did. Well, as the next best representative of their kingdom, Wadanohara curtsies to greet their guest. Her outfit is just as disturbing as your surroundings...
And if you can't breathe underwater, fear not, for she has cast a spell to fix that little problem handily. ]
Ah... welcome. Please make yourself at home! Today is a lovely night for a stroll.

[ Hm, hm. Was the surface really so... unenlightened and unhappy? Perhaps she has work to do. Surely their beautiful sea's happiness (corruption) could be spread to land...? ]
But, hey, tell me. Are there people you care about that you lost...? Or maybe... you know someone troubled...?

Not really. I've always been fine on my own.
[Once, that would have felt completely true. She actually used to say things like that. It feels kind of hollow now.
But still, there's enough truth to it. It wasn't that long ago that she felt that way. She can still remember what it was like.]

[ And in the end, sealing Mikotsu proved pointless. ]
Though in the end, it was a pointless waste of many lives. We're fine now.
[ There's a lot Wadanohara won't say. A lot. This sea is... much happier... even if it is so very unclean and bloody... ]
I've been wanting to go to the surface for awhile, but my husband gets so possessive! I'd like to get some flowers, but they'd probably wilt... maybe I should work on a spell for that...

It might explain the aura of death and decay all around, at least. But there's one thing that confuses her most about this whole thing.]
... 'Husband'?
[A possessive husband, with someone so young? Even if the girl is her own age, it doesn't sound good.]

[ It's her hope, though, that eventually it'll spread to the surface too. The ocean is connected to many things, so it's only a matter of time until its decay reaches land and streams and rivers... and more people.
Eventually, she will stop in front of a gigantic tower, that positively reeks of decay even worse than the town. ]
We've got spare rooms here~ So maybe I can work on a spell to send you back while you wait~
[ Except that's such a blatant lie. If given the option, she'd adore to see this girl as corrupted as the rest of them. The Sea often kills what it does not corrupt; hang around it long enough, and, well, it doesn't matter. The dead can just come back here, thanks to their Princess, right? ]

Are you really okay down here...?
[Because there's so much decay around, she can barely sense anything through it. It doesn't frighten her - she's willingly gone to the Dark Kingdom before. If anything actually poses a threat, she'll do what she has to to take care of it. But for now, this girl is the only hope she has of getting out of this place.]
... Anyway... thank you.
[No sense in being impolite. And if she can't figure out a spell to send her back soon, she'll just find her own way. As far as she can tell, nothing's keeping her here.]

[ She will laugh, cheerfully so, even. ]
I'm very happy... everyone here is...
[ Or, you know, they're dead. ]
